NUMBING CREAM FOR BOTOX & INJECTABLE TREATMENTS
Compound BLT for injection comfort before Botox, Dysport, and injectable treatments. Reliable surface numbing that does not distort tissue like infiltrated local. Approximately 15-minute onset, 2 to 4 hours of working time. For licensed providers.
MATCH THE FORMULA TO THE TREATMENT
A topical anesthetic numbs the surface for the needle stick without adding volume or distorting tissue. Pick the tier that matches your injectable workflow.
BOTOX & DYSPORT
Neuromodulator injections for forehead, glabella, crow's feet, and lower face. Triple-agent BLT gives reliable comfort for needle-shy patients. MediCaine Pro applied per protocol is the everyday standard.
BENZOCAINE-FREE
For patients with benzocaine sensitivity, MediCaine Elite (Lidocaine 30% + Tetracaine 7%) delivers high-concentration numbing without benzocaine — useful for reactive or allergy-prone skin.
FILLER & LONG SESSIONS
Combining tox with dermal filler or treating multiple zones. For lip and perioral filler, see our lip filler numbing guide. The extended duration of MediCaine Ultra suits longer combination sessions.
INJECTABLE APPLICATION
- 1
CLEANSE THE TREATMENT ZONE
Cleanse the area and confirm skin is intact. Follow your own provider protocol for consent, documentation, and injection planning.
- 2
APPLY A THIN LAYER
Apply a thin, even layer across the injection zone including margins, per protocol. Use the smallest effective amount and stay within labeled dose limits.
- 3
WAIT ABOUT 15 TO 30 MINUTES
Onset is around 15 minutes on thin facial skin. Allow up to 30 minutes for thicker areas. Working time is 2 to 4 hours depending on tier.
- 4
REMOVE AND PREP
Wipe the cream off completely, then perform skin antisepsis. Injection sites must be clean and prepped before the needle is introduced.
- 5
INJECT PER TECHNIQUE
Because topical anesthetic adds no volume, tissue landmarks stay undistorted for precise placement. Proceed with your standard injection technique.
